Xact Data Discovery Enters Government Marketplace Armed with GSA Contract
Mission, KS—June 27, 2007—Xact Data Discovery, a tier-one national Data Discovery and Management company that provides streamlined Forensic, Electronic Discovery, Data Hosting, Data Management, Imaging/Coding and Paper Discovery Services to law firms and corporations, has recently expanded its target audience focus to include national, state and local government agencies. Xact Data Discovery (recently conducting business as Xcellence, Inc. dba “Xact, Inc.”) was recently awarded a contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) on Schedule 36—Office Imaging and Document Solutions.
The GSA award is categorized within Special Item Number 51508—Litigation Support Services, the scope of which covers services support in the area of managing legal documents, including but not limited to document scanning, document coding, database development (electronic discovery/e-discovery/ED/EDD/ESI), document analysis and document copying.
Jordan Serum, a 13-year seasoned executive at Xact Data Discovery, has been named Vice President of Government Markets. Jordan will spearhead Xact Data Discovery’s sales and marketing efforts to create new business at the federal agency level, as well as developing business generation strategies and tactics to penetrate and sell state and local government agencies via Xact Data Discovery’s 14 branch locations nationwide. As an attorney, Jordan has performed various sales, management and executive duties for Xact Data Discovery since he joined the company in 1996, including General Manager of the companies’ flagship office in Kansas City, MO and most recently as Vice President, Midwest Region.
